Wife of the Governor of Anambra State, Mrs. Nonye Soludo, says her Non-governmental crusade, Healthy Living with Nonye Soludo, is open for collaborations with individuals and groups that share similar vision.

 

The governor’s wife stated this when she received representatives from Fidelity Bank Plc, Awka Regional Office, at the Governor’s Lodge Amawbia.

The Fidelity Bank team was at the governor’s official residence to establish collaboration with the governor’s wife’s Non-Governmental Organisationand to discuss other avenues to help the initiative.

 

Addressing the team, Mrs. Soludo said that the Non-Governmental Organisation is always open for right collaborations, especially those that attend to critical interventions like the pad bank project, Healthy Living Garden Competition, anti-shock garment programme and other projects run by the initiative.

She commended Fidelity Bank for coming forward to support the crusade, adding that Healthy Living with Nonye Soludo, apart from being a movement of deep passion, is always intentional in its programmes.

 

She outlined the different activities of the movement, including its establishment in schools, local government areas, and its interventions in hygiene, nutrition and agriculture, and human capital empowerment.

Earlier, the leader of the Fidelity Bank team, Dr Ndubuisi Achebe, said that part of the support for the Non-Governmental Organisation is to advance its publicity throughout the nineteen branches in the region.

 

He also said that the bank is willing to collaborate on women empowerment, most importantly, the House-to-House Women Initiative, empowering women in agriculture and supporting the Healthy Living Garden Competition in schools, and extending its corporate social responsibility model to the movement.

Dr Achebe also extolled the governor’s wife for the positive impact of her programme under a short period, and said that Fidelity Bank Plc as a progressive-minded organization is always willing to support initiatives that are result driven.

Other members of the visiting team were the Regional Retail Sales Co-ordinator, Mr. Obinna Mbonu, the Relationship Manager, Awka; Mr. Cyprain Okafor, and the Relationship Officer, Small and Medium Enterprises, Chidimma Mgbonu.
