The Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly, Right Honourable Somtochukwu Udeze, has commissioned a seven-room lock-up shops and borehole project constructed by the member representing Njikoka Constituency Two at the state assembly, Dr. Jude Akpua, for his constituents.

 

Dr. Akpua, who is the Deputy Majority Leader of the House, handed over the project situated at Abba in Njikoka Council Area to Abba Town Union as part of his constituency projects.

commissioning the project, the Speaker, Right Honourable Udeze, commended the project embarked upon by Dr. Akpua for his constituents, and described the lawmaker as one who has the interest of his people at heart.

 

The Speaker urged Dr. Akpua to continue his good work to his constituents.

On his part, Dr. Akpua reaffirmed his commitment to continue fulfilling the promises he made to his people and said that he is determined to do more for the development of his constituency.

 

He disclosed other projects currently going on in his constituency to include installation of streetlights and borehole projects, which he said are in line with the vision of the Soludo administration towards developing the state.

 

President General of Abba Town Union, Mr. Alexander Ekwuagana, and a stakeholder in the community, Sir Isaac Nwafor, said they were impressed with the projects, noting that they have huge economic values for the community, as they will assist traders in the community.

Also, a stakeholder in Abba community, Mr. Godwin Ekwealor, and Mr. Francis Obidike; from Nimo, commended the lawmaker for embarking on the projects, urging him to continue to sustain the tempo; as Ndi Njikoka are solidly behind him.

 

Some traders, including Mrs Ogechukwu Okafor and Miss Chinonye Agu, thanked Dr. Akpua for coming to their aid by embarking on the projects, praying for God’s blessings upon him.
