The Anambra State Commissioner for Power and Water Resources, Engineer Julius Chukwuemeka, has tasked Christians to always ensure that love and unity lead in their lives.

Engineer Chukwuemeka made this known after a pontifical high mass for the dedication of St Mary’s Catholic Church, Ugwu na Adagbe Aguleri, Anambra East Local Government Area.

The Commissioner, who was the special guest of honour on the occasion, maintained that the world would be a better place if Christians begin to live Christlike life, and congratulated the Parish Priest of the Church, Reverend Father Martin Atumanya, and the parishioners of St Mary’s Parish for building a befitting house for God, promising to always support in the propagation of the gospel.

Earlier in his homily, the Bishop of Aguleri Catholic Diocese, Most Reverend Denis Isizoh, charged Christians to always strive to be the light wherever they find themselves.

Most Reverend Isizoh tasked people of God to always persevere in every adversity, saying that God almighty would surely see them through.

While appreciating the clergies and members of St Mary’s Parish for building the church, the Catholic prelate maintained that the parish is strategically located at the entrance of Aguleri, and urged them to make good use of it.
