A one-time Chairman of Awka South Local Government Area Transition Committee, Mr. Leo Nwuba, says Governor Chukwuma Soludo is making a positive impact in the development of Awka the capital of Anambra State.

 

Speaking during an ABS Radio audience participatory Programme in Awka, Mr. Nwuba maintained that it is only the Soludo administration that remembered Awka in terms of development and appointments since Anambra State was created in 1991.

 

According to Mr. Nwuba, who is an indigene of Awka, the ongoing construction of new government house and lodge in Awka, is a clear indication that governor Soludo is committed to transforming Awka into a liveable, green, and prosperous home land are re-assured the governor of the support of the people of Awka to his administration.

 

Mr. Nwuba, while commending the traditional ruler of Awka Obi Gibson Nwosu for providing a conducive environment for the speedy transformation of Awka, tasked the people of Awka on taking full responsibility of government facilities in the area against vandalization.

 

He described the recent visit of all the legacy projects of Governor Soludo by a cross section of Awka stakeholders led by a former presidential adviser to former president Goodluck Jonathan on inter-party affairs Senator Ben Ndi-Obi as a welcome development through which the people have realized all the efforts of governor Soludo in terms of infrastructural development in Awka and environs which according to Senator Ndi-Obi are under reported in the Media.
