The Candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA, in the 2023 general election for Ogbaru Federal Constituency, Mr Arinzechukwu Awogu, has canvassed for massive support for Governor Chukwuma Soludo administration to enable it succeed.

 

Mr Awogu made the call while inaugurating his Campaign Council at Atani, in Ogbaru Local Government Area.

Explaining the enormity of work to be done in the Federal Constituency, the former Senior Special Assistant to former Governor Willie Obiano on Political Matters said that the job of transforming Ogbaru will not be left for the State government alone.

 

Mr Awogu who also spoke on the ecological challenges threating the existence of the area, said that substantial amount of Ogbaru land space has been lost to water erosion, which he described as worse than gully erosion.

The Campaign Council has a former APGA Chairman, Ogbaru Local Government Area Pastor Onochie Obiora as Chairman.

 

The Anambra State Deputy Chief of Staff and State Chief of Protocol, Mr Chinedu Nwoye charged members of the Campaign Council to do a great job.

Speaking after the inauguration, a major stakeholder in Ogbaru, Sir Nnajiakwu Ifeanyi, described Mr Awogu as a good man.

 

Many dignitaries attended the inaugural ceremony including the Ogbaru Local Government Area APGA chairman, Mr Nnamdi Ifejika; the Assistant State Legal Adviser, Mr Chris Anasiudu, Mrs Ebelechukwu Obiano’s Senatorial Co-ordinator for Ogbaru Constituency Two, Prince Ignatius Nnaji, APGA candidates for Ogbaru Constituency One and Two, for Anambra State House of Assembly, Messers Linus Ezenwanma and Emmanuel Uzonwanne; the Transition Committee Chairman for Idemili South Local Government Area Mrs Amaka Obi, among others.
