Pentecostal Bishops, other Ministers of the gospel and government officials, has  converged on Nnewi, as the Holy Ghost New Life International Church, marked her first anniversary.

The Church, which was established on twenty second March, 2020, also held prayers for the people and government of Anambra state as the November six, 2021 governorship election draws near.

 

The one year anniversary, which created an atmosphere of joy and merriment, coincided with the Women Fellowship Sunday and ordination of Church Ministers, featured debate and drama presentations by women, cutting of anniversary cake, dedication of evangelism bus presented to the  Church by her  Women Fellowship wing led by their President, Reverend Mrs Blessing Ozoemena, amongst others.

Speaking during the service, the founder of the Church, Bishop Dr Ozioma Ozoemena, thanked God for His love and protection towards the church, and charged the faithful to continue their good work in the church and society at large.

 

Bishop Ozoemena charged the newly ordained Assistant Pastors, Deacons and Deaconesses, to live exemplary life at all times and prayed God to bestow them with grace and power.

 

The Chairman on the occasion, and Deputy Majority Leader, Anambra State House of Assembly, Honourable Emeka Aforka, extolled Bishop Ozoemena for his steadfastness in the work of God, describing him as a man of grace.

 

Honourable Aforka, who is also the House Committee Chairman on Public Petitions, called on the people to always support the Bishop in all his visions to make the Church a very formidable one.

Speaking earlier during the sermon, Bishop Barn Chinwuba charged Christians to always follow Jesus Christ in humility and faith as good missionaries, serve God in obedience and commitment.

 

Members of the clergy and other dignitaries were present at the occasion.
