Commendations have continued to trail governor Obiano’s seventh year anniversary as citizens and government officials in the FCT only have good words and prayers for the governor.
Ekwi Ajide of our Abuja Bureau spoke with some government officials and reports that they were full of encomiums for the governor.
According to Abuja Liaison Officer, Agatha Manafa, Governor Willie Obiano has fulfilled all his campaign promises to the people and given them opportunity to excel in their life endeavours through provision of enabling environment.
The Liaison officer, who is a youth, encouraged Youths to reciprocate the governor’s largesse by improving on themselves and continue to tow the line already paved for them even after the present Administration4 for according to her, governor Obiano had empowered Anambra Youths and made them creative beyond their peers in other states.
She emphasized that the governor’s development plans in education, prepared teachers to produce quality students of International standards which is why Anambra has always come tops in education.
On his part, the Senior Special Assistant to the governor on Arts, Culture and Tourism, Honourable Chinedu Okwoloko, said ndi Anambra should be thankful to God for giving them governor Obiano who has done his best to ensure good life for them.
He counted, street lights in various communities in the state, the cargo airport, effective health system, good network of roads as some of the achievements of the Obiano administration.
Chief Okwoloko, enjoined ndi Anambra to pray for the governor and his wife who he said had been very supportive so they can accomplish all the tasks they set out for.
He asked ndi Anambra to work towards victory for the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, in the forthcoming election as APGA is the only party that has the plight of ndi igbo at heart.
According to him, political entrepreneurs are at it again but ndi Anambra should not allow themselves to be used to detract the governor from accomplishing his dreams for the state.
