Patrick Estate Onyedum, Chairman of the Anambra State Sports Development Commission, ASSDC, has held an interactive session with the playing personnel and management of Anambra Club Solution FC.

 

The interaction was held after the morning training session of the Solution Boys as they prepare for their upcoming match day nineteen fixture against Osun United scheduled for the Kwara Sports Complex, Ilorin this weekend.

 

Mr. Onyedum in his remarks, commended the players for their contributions to the team from the onset of the NNL 2023-2024 season to this point. The Chairman however lamented the current status of the team on the log owing to their poor record of late and their drop in form.

 

He urged the players to reignite the fire that saw them at some point on top of the log, and also challenged the players, management and coaching crew to put in their very best to ensure that the club finishes on a good note at the end of the season by maintaining their NNL status while promising as usual to continuously finance, support and provide all that is needed for their welfare and total wellbeing.

 

Earlier in his remarks, Captain of the side, David Okoye thanked the Chairman for making out time to interact with the players which he described as a huge morale booster for their preparations as the season gradually gets to the finish line.

 

He highlighted some of the challenges being faced by the playing personnel while assuring that the players will remain focused on the task ahead and ensure they end the season on a good note.

 

Highlights of the interactive session was a photo session with the players and the coaching crew.

 

Present during the interactive session was the Special Assistant to the Governor on Sports, Mr. John Ezebuadi and the Sports Consultant to the ASSDC, Olu Sule.
