The Woman leader of the All progressives Grand Alliance APGA in Anambra State Mrs. Esther Onyekesi says Christian fathers have crucial roles to play in bringing the needed positive change in the society.
Speaking to the ABS on this year’s Father’s Sunday of the Roman Catholic church, Mrs. Onyekesi regretted that a good number of fathers are falling short of expectations in the discharge of their duties as the Head of their various families.
According to Mrs. Onyekesi, when Christian fathers begin to assert their roles, society will be a better abode for all mankind, even as she regretted the high rate of societal vices, especially among the Youths and charged Christian fathers to take full ownership of their various families in order to enthrone a God fearing and decent family.
Mrs. Onyekesi while wishing Christian fathers a remarkable fathers Sunday, charged fathers to see the upbringing of their children as a collective responsibility.
She used the opportunity to felicitate with Governor Chukwuma Soludo on this Year’s Father’s Sunday, describing his achievements in Anambra State within two years in office as legion.
