Operation Clean and Healthy Anambra, OCHA Brigade, in collaboration with Anambra State Traffic Management Agency, ARTMA have impounded vehicles for illegal parking from Toll gate axis Ogbunike, to Bridge Head axis and Ochanja market, Onitsha axis of the State.

This was done during a joint enforcement operation led by the Managing Director, OCHA Brigade, Comrade Celestine Anere to decongest traffic by removing illegally parked vehicle along the major roads.

The exercise followed constant complaints from road users who complain about how such illegal parkings cause intense gridlocks during rush hours in the areas.

According to Comrade Anere, the agency, in continuation of a general enforcement operation to unlock every traffic bottleneck and congestion across the state, will continue to impound vehicles over illegal parking in the state.

The OCHA Brigade boss reassured that the agency will continue to ensure free flow of traffic by scaling up enforcement and clampdown on stubborn private and commercial bus drivers as violators would face charges going forward.
