It was jubilation galore at Okpuno, Umuogali Village Oba, Idemili South Local Government Area as Mr. Osita Agina popularly known as (Oyinatumba) tied the nuptial knot with his heart throb Ebele Chikelue in a grand style.

The wedding ceremony and reception held at Saint Peters Anglican Church and Nelly International Hotel and Suits Oba respectively attracted the creme de la creme of the society including top government functionaries, Inyom Umu-Okpagu, Ezinimo In-laws among other numerous friends and well-wishers of the celebrants.

Dressed in his beautiful dark blue suit, the groom Osita matched to the altar with his best man while the bride, Ebele followed in the same procession looking splendid in her beautiful beaded white wedding gown in the company of her Brides maid, little page boy and little bride, to say, I do.

In a sermon to mark the solemnization of the holy matrimony, the Parish Priest, Reverend Chinedu Nnakwue whose topic was “marriage mathematics”, explained that marriage is given primarily that husband and wife may comfort and help each other, living faithfully together in need, in plenty, in sorrow and in joy.

The Priest later joined them with rings which represent their love and commitment to each other.
In an interview with the ABS, the groom explained that he was attracted to his wife, due to her humble, God fearing and caring nature while the bride Ebele said she was attracted to Osita, due to his loving and philanthropic nature to God and humanity, promising to continue to love and cherish each other.

The parents of the bride and bridegroom Evangelist and Mrs Innocent Chikelue, and Mr. Christian Agina advised them to live in peace, love and cherish each other, praying God to bless them with the fruits of the womb.

The traditional ruler of Owelle Ancient kingdom, Igwe Anthony Onyekwere, his Ezinifite counterpart Igwe Bobo Orji, and that of Akpu, Architect J.O OKpalaezecha as well as the traditional ruler of Alor, Igwe Mac- Anthony Okonkwo also advised them to say no to third party in their marriage.

Speaker after speaker at the ceremony wished the couple a happy and successful marriage while the Chairman on the occasion, Mr. Uchenna Ejiofor, the Special Assistant to Governor on Security, Prince Innocent Ofodile, among others harped on the need for them to pray together and wished them a happy married life.

Dance by the couple and presentation of gift formed the highpoints of the ceremony.
