The Deputy Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly, Right Honourable Chukwuma Okoye, along with the member representing Anambra West Constituency, Honourable Patrick Udoba, and Chairman, House Committee on Works, Honourable Emma Nwafor have expressed appreciation for Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s development initiatives in Anambra West Local Government Area.

 

During a visit to Anambra West Local Government Headquarters in Nzam, and the ongoing construction of Mmiata-Nzam road, the lawmakers lauded the transformation of the area under Governor Soludo’s leadership.

Speaking, Right Honourable Okoye expressed satisfaction with the development in Anambra West, saying it was made possible through the impact of good governance and leadership of Governor Soludo.

 

He hailed the Governor as a problem solver who is attentive to the needs of the people, assuring the people of Anambra West that more works are in the pipeline.

 

The member representing Anambra West Constituency, Honourable Udoba, emphasized the positive impact of Governor Soludo’s leadership in Anambra West, affirming that the Governor has made the headquarters the best in the state.

He re-assured the community of upcoming phases of road and other developmental projects.

 

On his part, the Chairman, House Committee on Works and member representing Orumba South Constituency, Honourable Nwafor, noted that Governor Soludo has done noble in lessening the plights of people in the area, and making communities accessible with quality road construction.

 

He commended the pace of work and urged the contractors handling the projects to take note of observations made and amend them.

The Transition Committee Chairman of Anambra West Local Government Area Felix Ikechi highlighted the improved accessibility of the community and the residents’ happiness, thanked Governor Soludo for the positive changes, while the traditional ruler of Nzam, Igwe John Ogugua, expressed gratitude to the Governor and called further development efforts.
