Anambra State Commissioner for Women and Social Welfare Mrs. Ify Obinabo has continued to drum support for Governor Chukwuma Soludo.
The latest was during the just concluded Ufuma Women Community Leaders’ Prayer meeting in preparation for the forthcoming Orumba North Mega Rally.
The Prayer Meeting is expected to hold in all the sixteen communities that make up Orumba North Local government area.
Speaking at the prayer meeting, Mrs. Obinabo, who centered her message on “The Need to Desist from Idolatry and Focus Only on God” highlighted the many benefits of her topic to include; unlimited and direct access to God, Peace and all-round progress amongst others.
Mrs. Obinabo reminded the women that it is because Professor Soludo focuses only on God that he was able to achieve so much within his two years in office.
She listed some of his achievements to include providing good road network for the people of Ufuma and beyond, prompt payment of workers salary, free delivery for pregnant women in the State, free education for children in the State among others.
She urged them to support the present administration of Professor Soludo in making Anambra a liveable and prosperous homeland and for more quality dividends of democracy by shunning all forms of corrupt practices.
Highlight of the meeting include discussion on how to mobilize women both at the rural and urban areas to participate fully in the coming election.
