Ultimate Destiny Uplifters Foundation UDUAF Africa has organized a one-day summit tagged Under Forty-five Chief Executive office business and leadership summit 2023.

 

The event which attracted young entrepreneurs, business moguls, scholars, Media Gurus among others was held at Youth Development Center Housing Estate 3-3 Onitsha.

The 2023 UDUAF Africa summit which has its theme as “Creating a Sustainable Africa through Active Leadership” was aimed at offering invaluable insights and resources to enrich and inspire young entrepreneurs to emerge as global business leaders.

 

In his welcome address the Founding President the Foundation, UDUAF Africa, Mr. Smart Ezuma stated that the summit is one of the ways to contribute and ensure there is balancing in the disparity of leadership situation in Africa as all things depends on leadership.

He described youths as a gift of nature with a new stage of opportunity, brain and strength urging them to use the opportunity to create and recreate their lives by being intentional to catch up with their destiny.

 

The key note speaker at the event Mr. valentine Ozigbo who spoke on how to build a sustainable business in an uncertain environment said if they wish to have their businesses flourish, they have to be emotionally intelligent, truthful and accountable urging them to be passionate in anything they do in life for them to succeed.

In a charge up session, the lead Pastor, Life of Faith Gospel Assembly, Pastor Sam Obiorah who harped on being consistence in their daily routine charged the participants to avoid wasting their time and energy on small decisions rather they should embrace ethics and authenticity as well as embrace rest and social interaction.

 

Narrating the story of his entrepreneurial journey, the Chief Executive Officer IK God food industries Limited, Dr Ikenna Ifejiofor enumerated proper mentality, appropriate mindset, vision and planning as criteria for a successful business growth.

Some of the panelists who spoke on the theme “Creating a Sustainable Africa through Active Leadership” include Director General, Onitsha Business School, Professor Olusegun Sogbesan, the Founder Godson Iroh and company, Dr Godson Iroh, the Programme Director Ideation Hub Africa, Lady Oluwatoyin Banjo and a Business Trade and Policy Analyst Mrs. Ijeoma Ezeasor stressed the need for African leaders to be impactful and ensure optional use of public fund

 

Some of the participants at the summit that includes Miss Chisom Prevail and Mr. Nzubechukwu Ezeonu, expressed Joy and gratitude to God and same for the conveners of the summit for the opportunity given them to be part of the mind-blowing event.

The summit also featured entrepreneurial presentation contest among five young entrepreneurs who exhibited their products and services, and at the end three out of five emerged as winners and they went home with the sum of one million naira each.
