Governor Chukwuma Soludo has demanded the immediate remand of a suspected rapist, one Onuora Innoma, who was arrested at Ado Girls Secondary School Onitsha.
Governor Soludo, who spoke through the Commissioner for Education, Professor Ngozi Chuma-Udeh, requested for the rapist to be remanded at the State Criminal Investigation Department Awka, while investigation continues.
Governor Soludo, who frowned at such a terrible and nefarious act vowed to take every legally available means to bring the perpetrator to book to serve as deterrent to others.
The Governor enjoined Ndi Anambra to speak up in the face of such acts.
Meanwhile, the suspect is being detained at the Inland Town Police Division Onitsha.
