Anambra State Government will take delivery of COVID-19 Vaccine today.
The Executive Secretary, Anambra State Primary Health Care Development Agency, Dr. Chioma Ezenyimulu disclosed this while sensitizing traditional rulers in Awka.
Dr. Ezenyimulu who is the leader, Anambra State Technical Working Group for COVID-19 Vaccination said that frontline health workers will be the first to be vaccinated.
She further urged Ndi Igwe to help in the sensitization in their various communities as she said, the vaccine is safe.
Dr. Ezenyimulu revealed that those above sixty years of age as well as people with underlined medical issues, will be the second group of people to get vaccinated.
In a vote of thanks, the traditional ruler of Isseke, Igwe Emma Nnabuife who spoke on behalf of Ndi Igwe, thanked the team for the sensitization and pledged the support of Ndi Igwe to make the Vaccination a successful one.
