Anambra state Capital Territory Development Authority, ACTDA, has sealed off a two story building at Golphins Close, behind Samkos Plaza motor parks, Unizik temporary site junction Awka.

The Agency sealed off the building during an inspection of a partially demolished fence around the area.

The Managing Director and Chief Executive officer of the agency, Venerable Amaechi Okwuosa led the team.

Sealing off the building, Venerable Okwuosa, who described it as unfit for human inhabitance said the seal off become necessary because of several cracks, extensions and serious amendment of the original structure and open sewage that is very close to the foundation.

On the partially demolished fence, Venerable Okwuosa said they have procedures regarding building and development control and is mandatory that before any perimeter fence is erected, there must be approval from relevant authorities.

He frowned on too many emerging illegal structures and extensions on already existing structures that have approvals, warning that all of them will be demolished.

The ACTDA boss appealed to the EEDC to as a matter of urgency replace the two high tension electric poles that are at the verge of collapsing in front of the motor park at the Unizik temporary site Awka.

On his part, the landlord of the partially demolished fence, Mr Chigozie Onuko, who accepted the reason for the partial demonstration, promised to follow the directives given to them by the agency to effect holistic correction.

A motor park worker, Chief Onuorah Nwude while describing the exercise as a worthy one, assured total compliance with the directive given to them.
