Ndi Anambra have been charged to always be security conscious and support Governor Chukwuma Soludo in making the state a secure and livable homeland.
The Transition Committee Chairman of Awka North Local Government Area, Comrade ThankGod Anago who gave this charge while speaking to the ABS in Awka, noted that security is everybody ‘s business, hence the need for Ndi Anambra and other residents of the State to be security conscious and support all the efforts of the state government in safeguarding the state.
The TC Chairman who maintained that Governor Soludo has done tremendously well in the areas of security and infrastructural development, noted that no meaningful development will take place in an atmosphere of insecurity.
He called on the traditional rulers, presidents general and every other stakeholder in Anambra to support the efforts of the state government in sanitizing the state of all forms of evils and social vices.
According to Comrade Anago, he will continue to work together with all the security agencies in Awka North to ensure that the local government is secure and safe in order to help the Governor to achieve a prosperous homeland.
The Awka North Mayor appealed to the youths of the council area to embrace all the youth friendly policies and programmes of the current administration in the State, especially the various youth entrepreneurship training and empowerment to become self-reliant as well as employers of labour.
