The Anambra State Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Barrister Ifeatu Obi-Okoye has described good governance, development and cohesion between the government and Ndi Anambra as one of the hallmarks of the Governor Chukwuma Soludo administration.
Addressing a delegation of the Soludo Ambassadors, who paid a courtesy visit to his office in Awka, Barrister Obi-Okoye, acknowledged the need for support groups to have a good working relationship with the party, as partners in progress.
He explained that the current administration in the State seeks to work with all men of goodwill, for the entrenchment of good governance in the state.
The APGA State Chairman however advised the Soludo Ambassadors to always carry the party along in all their subsequent activities.
Appreciating the APGA boss for his warm welcome, the Head of delegation and National Coordinator of Soludo Ambassadors, Chief Obiora Nwachukwu, stated that the group is a Non-Governmental Organisation, formed to promote good governance and also a veritable platform, built to inform Ndi Anambra about the dividends of democracy brought about by the government of Governor Soludo.
He underscored the importance of Soludo Ambassadors as a support group with members from different political parties, but, with a common ideology, who converged to help fine-tune the Governor’s five-point administration pillars of Security, Law and order, Economic transformation, Governance and value system and environment as well as Human capital and social agenda.
Chief Nwachukwu also extended a letter of invitation to the APGA Chairman for the Anambra South Zonal Mega Rally of the organisation, to be held at Nkwọ Triangle, Nnewi, on the second of December 2023, tagged, “Soldering the Solution Agenda”.
In their separate remarks, the National Women Leader of Soludo Ambassadors, Mrs Vera Atuigwe and the Director of Projects and Programmes, Comrade Ken Atuigwe, affirmed the staunch support of the Ambassadors in projecting, promoting and protecting the good works of Professor Soludo and reassured the party of the group’s loyalty and respect at all times.
