The Managing Director of Anambra State Health Insurance Agency (ASHIA), Dr. Simeon Onyemaechi has called on affluent individuals in the various communities in the state to embrace the adoption model initiated by the agency to enroll their people into the scheme.
Dr. Onyemaechi who disclosed this while speaking to the ABS Health correspondent Chibuzor Okoye, noted that the adoption model where an affluent individual will register the downtrodden or the aged into the scheme remains the best Christmas gift one will give to his people or his community.
He explained that the agency has increased its capacity and operational module due to the enormous support it is receiving from the Governor Chukwuma Soludo led administration and called on Ndi Anambra to take advantage of the scheme, as well as keep praying and supporting the Soludo administration.
Dr. Onyemaechi maintained that giving people food stuffs like rice and other perishable items are good during the yuletide but the provision of adequate health remains the best gift any affluent individual can offer his people as according to him, it is only a healthy person that can eat and drink.
According to the ASHIA boss, the agency is doing everything within its power to ensure that all her enrollees have value for their money as they continue to monitor their implementing healthcare facilities to ensure that their beneficiaries are not shortchanged under any guise.
