Anambra state Deputy Governor, Dr Onyekachukwu Ibezim has assured Ndi Anambra of improved security and acceleration of work on road projects across the state.

 

The Deputy Governor gave the assurance at St Anthony’s Catholic Church Ifite-Awka during the dedication of one of his aids’ son, little master Fabian Nwokoye.

Deputy Governor Ibezim who restated that the administration of Professor Chukeuma Soldu is committed towards eradicating crime and criminality in the state, said that the government will not rest until adequate security is achieved across the state.

 

Dr Ibezim asked youths in the state to avail themselves the opportunity of learning a skill or more under the ongoing “One Youth Two Skill” project of Governor Soludo government, which according to him is targeting at raising a million young millionaires annually in the state, and promised that the scheme will continue.

The Deputy Governor promised that pace of work on roads across the state will accelerate this yuletide and that more projects will soon be completed.

 

Earlier in a homely, one of the Parish Priests of St. Anthony Catholic Church Ifite-Awka, Reverend Father Pascal Okekeazi encouraged Christians to always seek for God’s wisdom and guidance in all they do in order to actualize their life’s dreams.

Reverend Father Okekeazi warned Christians against sharp practices and lives that displeases God, and urged them to pray at all times and wait for God’s time in their lives as it remains the best.

 

In a remark, the Deputy Governor’s aid whose son was dedicated, Engineer Dennis Nwokoye, a Senior Special Assistant to Governor Soludo on Political Matters, thanked God for His faithfulness in his family and how he spared the baby’s life.

He used the opportunity to encouraged Ndi Anambra to keep supporting the administration of Professor Soludo for the fulfilment of the transformation agenda of the Governor for the state.
