The Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Soludo says the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA is a party built and is still being built to last.

 

Governor Soludo stated this at the Commissioning of the Regional Secretariat Complex of the party in Awka.

Apart from the main building of five floors which has offices all en suite, solar power supply source, the project also has generator house, among others.

Governor Soludo who is the National Leader of the party, noted that a proper evaluation of its assets will no doubt leave APGA as the wealthiest political party in Nigeria, noting that the message of prudent management of resources by the Oye-led leadership should be cascaded down to the base of the party.

The Governor who recalled his almost forty-three years sojourn in politics, noted that APGA has a history of working with any government at the center, assuring that President Tinubu’s administration will not be an exception.

Speaking earlier, the National Chairman of APGA, Chief Oye eulogised Governor Soludo as a man of his words, stating that the project was executed to prove to Nigerians that the country can work, pointing out that his administration was committed to building the party.

While stating that they inherited forty million naira with a debt of fifteen million at inception, he said that they worked day and night to deliver the building, as the party’s National Working Committee meeting was held there, pointing out that the project materialised because they keyed into the Governor’s vision through hardwork and resilience.

The Anambra State Deputy Governor, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim,Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, Right Hon. Uche Okafor, his Deputy, Dr. Paschal Agbodike, Secretary to the State Government, Professor Solo Chukwulobelu, Chief of Staff to the Governor, Mr. Ernest Ezeajughi, , Anambra State APGA Chairman, Barrister Ifeatu Obiokoye, members of the National Working Committee and Anambra State Executive of APGA, were present during the event.
