A former governor of Anambra State, Dr Chukwuemeka Ezeife has predicted that there will be no more bloodshed in Igboland, especially in Anambra State, before, during and after the governorship election coming soon.
He posited that if Anambra State election is free and fair, then the 2023 elections will produce a president from the South East in a free and fair election and this according to him, will bring the desired change in Nigeria.
The former governor who spoke to newsmen at the premises of Federal High court Abuja, venue of trial of Mr Nnamdi Kanu, also predicted that a new Nigeria is coming where there would be free and fair elections.
The elder statesman said, when Nigeria changes, there will be no more extreme poverty as Nigerians will be confident, and able to cater for their families and as such, no more beggars in the country.
Dr. Ezeife, expressed pleasure that Mr Nnamdi Kanu was brought to the court unlike the previous time when they waited for over three hours but did not see him adding that those who saw him in the court room, confirmed that Kanu looked well.
