The Independent National Electoral Commission,  INEC,  has been implored to embark on rigorous voter education to change the psych of people ahead of the Anambra governorship election come November six,  twenty twenty one.
A community leader,  from Nteje in Oyi local government Area and resident in Abuja, Chief Mike Nwakalor, who made the call  while interacting with our Abuja bureau crew, asked ndi Anambra to pray fervently and turn back to God for intervention in the election .
The community leader, regetted that there have been voter apathy in Anambra elections in recent over the years because people no longer believe that their votes count which he emphasized INEC and party leaders must work hard to correct .
He however noted, that Anambra election will always remain peaceful as the average onye Anambra is a peace loving person stressing that nobody’s ambition equates human life.
Chief Nwakalor, cautioned Anambra electorate to vote according to their conscience and jettison money politics which he said, would encourage the representative to work for himself instead of working for the people.
The community leader said all hands must be on deck to educate the populace especially women who are easily enticed with material things so as to eliminate the era of highest bidder takes it all and enthrone a government that will uphold the democratic successes already recorded in Anambra state.
