Governor Willie Obiano has reechoed the clarion call on Ndi Anambra to bring part of their wealth home to aid development in the state and create job opportunities for the teaming youth.

Governor Obiano made the call while inaugurating hotel built in Awka by the Traditional Ruler of Umueri, Igwe Benneth Emeka.

The Governor who was represented by his Deputy, Dr Nkem Okeke noted that his administration has already created enabling environment for businesses to thrive in the state through provision of effective security network, asking Ndi Anambra in the diaspora that are yet to answer the Akulue uno call to do so to accelerate development, increase the state’s GDP, and create employment opportunities for the youths.

Governor Obiano disclosed that his government is already making moves to partner private sectors on power related issues in the state to ensure twenty-four hours uninterrupted power supply, to  increase productivity  of industries across the state.

In a remark, Traditional Ruler of Umueri and the owner of the hotel, Igwe Emeka said he took the bold step following the high security network achieved for the state’s residents by the Governor Willie Obiano led administration, and to assist in the improvement  of the state’s Internally Generated Revenue and job opportunities for the youths.

On his part, the Manager of the hotel, Engineer Nonso Emeka assured quality services for their customers and called for patronage.

Among dignitaries that graced the occasion were the state Commissioner for Information, Mr. C Don Adinuba, that of Housing , Architect Mike Okonkwo, Traditional Ruler of Nteje community and Co-Chairman ABS Board of Directors, Igwe Roland Odegbo, among others.
