The remains of late Ezinne Josephine Igweze have been laid to rest at her country home, Ukpomachi Village Awkuzu, Oyi Local Government Area.

The burial ceremony attracted family members, relatives, friends and well-wishers, who came to pay their last respects.


It was all tears the remains of late Ezinne Josephine Igweze were lowered into the grave.

According to those who knew her, she was known for her love, friendly and peaceful disposition especially, her golden touch in conflict management both within her immediate family and the community at large.

In a sermon during the burial service, the Archdeacon, Oyi Archdeaconry and Vicar, Saint James’ Anglican Church Awkuzu, Venerable Oswald Ezekwere, acknowledged that late Mrs. Igweze lived a pious and fulfilled life, asking mothers to emulate good lifestyle that will speak volume of them while away and prayed God to continue to strengthen the family.


While urging the family to mourn with gratitude to God, Venerable Ezekwere asked them to have solace in the fact that their mother did not die untimely and called on the people to always celebrate the living in acknowledgement of their noble deeds.

Sympathizing with the deceased family, the immediate pasted Commissioner for Information and Communication Strategy, Ogbuefi Tony Nnachetta and an in-law from Enugwu-Ukwu, Mr. Chibuzor Ikeagwuani affirmed that their parents shared a long time relationship with the family of Igweze, which according to them late Ezinne Josephine was instrumental to.


In appreciation, her first and last sons, Mr. Ikemefuna and Olisaemeka Igweze while describing their mother as a woman, who can never be forgotten, thanked all, who came to felicitate with them.


For her daughters, Mrs. Nkemjika Oleh and Mrs. Chinwe Ezenwammadu they were honored celebrating their late mother’s worthy life.
The late Mrs. Igweze died at the age of eighty-seven.
