President Muhammadu Buhari, has renewed the appointment of Mr Ben Akabueze as the Director-General of the Budget Office of the Federation.
This is contained in a statement by Mr Yunusa Abdullahi, Special Adviser on Media and Communications to the Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Hajia Zainab Ahmed.
Mr Akabueze was first appointed as a Special Adviser on Planning to the President on fifteenth February, 2016, but was later re-deployed and appointed as Director-General of the Budget Office on tenth June, 2016.
His four-year tenure will expire on tenth June, 2020, but it has been extended by another four years with the recent directive from the President.
