The Managing Director of Awka Capital Territory Development Authority, Venerable Amaechi Okwuosa has urged property developers across the State to always secure approval for their building plans through relevant authority.
Venerable Okwuosa, gave the advice in an interview with newsmen in his office in Awka.
According to him, securing approval for buildings will enable the authority have access and inspect such structure from the on-set to help stem building distortion and collapse, especially during the harmattan period.
Venerable Okwuosa, while urging developers to engage the services of professionals to curb building collapse, enjoined them to clear bushes around their sites to avoid fire outbreaks, especially during the dry season.
