Nigerians have been asked to exercisepatience with their leaders in actualizing true democracy of providing basic amenities in the country.Correspondent Festus Obierika who went to Obosi and Oba axis to sample people’s opinion on their expectations from President Muhammad Buhari, National and State Assemblies  members reports that people are of high hopes towards his second term in office. 

 In his reaction, Chief Emmanuel Nwabunike, expects that  President Buhari’s second term will be better  as he would use the opportunity to  correct his past mistakes. Chief Nwabunike who admitted that things are really bad, called for efforts of all and sundry to reposition the Country  and maintained that President Buhari has a lot to do, more especially as it concerns good   road network and other  infrastructure as well as changing the economic hardship facing the country for better. He used the opportunity to call for Unity and Progress in  the country, adding that Nigeria has all it takes to be a great nation despite the present challenges .

In his own contribution, an APGA Stalwart, Chief  Frank Okafor, highlighted poverty, illiteracy, and greed exhibited by some politicians as factors militating against moving the country forward, while urging President Buhari, State Governors to always think of its citizen’s welfare more than their personal gains.           

On his part, a medical Practitioner Dr Frank lheneme said the country economically is very bad, stressing  that the leaders have a duty to critically look into the nation’s economy and restore hope to average Nigerians.         

Some Catholic Priests  who spoke including Reverend Fathers, Kenneth Anona and Emmanuel Emenu, stated that much was not  seen in his first  four years but called on him to equip  students of various schools  as the leaders of tomorrow.      They advocated  partnership between both State, federal government and the church in order to bring up morally sound children so as to guarantee a better society.
