The Managing Director of the Transport Company of Anambra State, Mr. Chike Obiakor says over two hundred kilometres of roads constructed by Governor Chukwuma Soludo has boosted transport business and socio-economic activities in Anambra State.

Mr. Obiakor made this known while speaking with journalists in Umuona, Aguata local government area.

The TRACAS Boss noted that the development has aided smooth movement of the company’s vehicles in all parts of the state and lauded Governor Soludo for utilizing tax payers’ money by fixing dilapidated roads across the state which has reduced the rate at which commercial bus drivers and private car owners visit mechanic workshops to repair their vehicles.

He observed that Governor Soludo also opened up the rural areas with construction of roads in the hinterlands, which were hitherto forgotten by the past administrations, adding that the development has given the people a sense of belonging and will enable farmers in the area to evacuate their farm produce to urban areas.

The TRACAS Managing Director maintained that the Soludo administration has demonstrated that he is committed to alleviating the sufferings of Ndi Anambra by meeting the pressing needs of the people, including returning pipe borne water to the state after sixteen years.

He called on Ndi Anambra to continue to support Governor Soludo’s administration as he is determined to build a liveable and prosperous homeland where Ndi Anambra can live, work, relax and enjoy.
