The Councilor representing Owerre-Ezukala Ward Two in Orumba South Local Government Area, Mr. Johnclem Chukwuemezie has commended the wife of the Governor, Mrs. Nonye Soludo for using her pet project “Healthy Living with Nonye Soludo” to uplift the living standards of the citizenry.
Speaking to newsmen in Awka shortly after a meeting organized by the wife of the Governor, Mrs. Soludo with all the councilors in the state, Mr. Chukwuemezie expressed gratitude to her for providing the councilors with cartons of vitamin supplements for the aged in their various wards.
He noted that the wife of the Governor has through her health programme transformed the lives of many women, children and vulnerable in the state and urged the less privileged to avail themselves the opportunity created by the Governor’s wife to improve their health conditions.
Mr. Chukwuemezie who is also the Supervisory Councilor for education in Orumba South Local Government Area, paid glowing tribute to Mrs. Soludo for extending her Healthy Living Campaign to schools by launching no fewer than three hundred and twenty-five healthy living clubs in schools across the state.
He disclosed that the women of Owerre-Ezukala Ward Two are full of praises to the wife of the Governor, for impacting positively on women especially for providing them with free antenatal care and delivery services.
