The member representing Anambra West Constituency in the State House of Assembly, Hon. Patrick Obalum-Udoba has commended governor Chukwuma Soludo for approving the connection of Umueze Anam-Inoma communities to the national grid.

 

Hon. Udoba who spoke to the ABS in his country home Umueze Anam, also said that the governor has equally approved the provision of pipe-borne water in the local government, and has also renovated all the moribund pipe-borne water in the council area.

 

The Lawmaker who expressed satisfaction with the actions of governor Soludo, said that the local government is one of the few in Nigeria that most of its communities are not connected to the national grid, as well as lacking pipe-borne water, among others.

 

Hon. Udoba noted that with the recent approvals made by the Governor, his constituents will in no distant time, start enjoying steady power supply and potable water like their counterparts nationwide.

 

He pointed out that what Governor Soludo has done is a reconfirmation that he has the interest of Ndi Anambra West and other local governments area of the state at heart and promised that they will continue to give his administration a maximum support for him to achieve his policies and programmes for Ndi Anambra.

 

Hon. Udoba who is the Anambra state House of Assembly Committee Chairman on Transport, appealed to the people of Anambra West and other local governments to always protect government’s facilities and projects sited in their localities from vandals and theft.

 

The Lawmaker also praised the Anambra state government for the massive road constructions in the state, including the on-going Mmiata Anam-Nzam road, which he said that when completed, it will ease the sufferings of his people.
