It was a contest of brain and beauty during the 2022 Ada Nibo beauty pageant, which brought The Annual Nibo Carnival to its climax.

 

The beautiful contestants who represented each village in Nibo town were all glamorous in their different attire both traditional and modern outfit, as they each showcased themselves on stage.

According to one of the managers of the event, Mr. David Ifeagwu, the winner among the five contestants will represent the young maidens of Nibo while also being a cultural Ambassador of the community.

 

He further explained that the winner will take home three hundred thousand Naira with other benefits after going through the rigorous process of emerging the winner.

 

The Commissioner for Women Affairs, Mrs. Ify Obinabo speaking at the event noted that culture is unique and the pageant contest have helped to bring out the best amongst the contestants instead of them engaging in negativity due to idleness.

 

Also speaking, the President-General of Nibo community, Professor Tony Nwokoye explained that the carnival over the years have become outstanding and will keep improving, thanking the organizers for their efforts.

 

Other guest at the event who spoke, including a Nollywood actor Okwy Okpanum, Prince Paul Okudo and Emma Nwaonu said the Nibo Carnival and Beauty Pageant is making a lot of impact and differences culturally, morally and socially.

 

After going through the stages of cultural presentations, talent and skill display and questions and answer session, Miss Peace Iruma emerged Ada Nibo Beauty Pageant winner and assured that she will use her reign to touch lives and make impact.
