All is now set for the 2022 entrance examinations into Anglican seminaries and convents in both the Ecclesiastical Province of the Niger and Enugu, scheduled to take place on Saturday, April 30, 2022.

The examinations, which will commence by eleven O’clock in the morning, will take place simultaneously in all the seminaries and convents, as the candidates will sit for the examination in the schools they had chosen.

There are eleven seminary schools and twelve convents in both the Ecclesiastical Province of the Niger and Enugu.

The Seminaries are Bishop Crowder Seminary, Awka, the Good Shepherd Anglican Seminary, Enugu, Saint Christopher’s Junior Seminary 3:3, Onitsha, Bishop Uzodike Memorial Seminary, Nnewi and Transfiguration Seminary, Abakaliki.

Others are; Archbishop Patterson Seminary, Igbariam, Bishop Patterson Junior Seminary, Mbosi, All Saints Seminary, Ekwulobia, Master’s Vessel Seminary, Osumenyi, the King’s Ambassadors Seminary, Atani, and Savory Memorial Seminary, Achi.

For Convents, there are Holy Innocents Juniorate Convent, Nkpor, Saint Mary the Virgin Convent Ufuma, Bishop Otubelu Convent, Abakaliki, Holy Child Convent, Nachi, Holy Child Convent, Amichi, and Carol Standard Convent, Ichi.

Also in existence are Bethel Home Convent, Enugu, Convent of Saint Mary, Ihiala, Virgin Mary Convent, Umueri, EL Shalom Convent, New Heaven, Okpoko, Dame Irene Okwuosa Memorial Convent, Oraifite, as well as Queen’s Convent, Awka.

Each of the seminaries and convents have quality teachers, modern teaching aids, standard hostels, functional science laboratories and secure environment, amongst others, to ensure effective teaching and learning in a conducive atmosphere.
