Anambra State Commissioner for Health, Dr Afam-Ben Obidike has assured the state government readiness to partner communities to ensure functionable health care centers.

Dr Obidike, who gave the assurance at Oraifite General Hospital, during his tour of primary health care facilities across the state, said the tour was aimed at enabling people at the grassroots to have quality and accessible health care as well as ascertaining gap analysis, identifying areas of need and knowing where the government can come in.

While promising a functional X-ray Machine and Oxygen to Oraifite General Hospital, the commissioner disclosed that he started the tour with the hospital because of the patriotism of Oraifite people, who used their funds to equip the hospital and built structures.

He assured that he will replicate Oraifite Model in other hospitals.

The Chief Medical Director of Oraifite General Hospital, Dr Innocent Umeakunne, who took him around the various unit of the hospital, confirmed that most of the things in the hospital were done by Oraifite people while noting that they treat all diseases and offer twenty-four hours service.
