The people of Nnewi North Local Government Area have unanimously resolved to deliver APGA and its candidate in the November sixth Anambra gubernatorial election.

 

Some stakeholders who spoke on behalf of Ndi Nnewi during the APGA, Nnewi North campaign flag-off, including the Nnewi North Transition Committee Chairman, Prince Chukwudi Orizu and the Anambra state Commissioner for Transport, Mr Afam Mbanefo, threw their weight behind APGA, while attesting that Nnewi has benefited enormously under APGA government.

 

While highlighting some of the projects commissioned in Nnewi under APGA government, including the 100 foot road erosion control, other road projects scattered across the four communities in Nnewi, street lights, improved power supply among others, they said that Ndi Nnewi are too economical to waste their votes.

They assured before Governor Obiano, APGA candidate, Professor Chukwuma Soludo, his Deputy, Onyekachukwu Ibezim, Senator Victor Umeh and others that Nnewi will cast their votes for APGA and Soludo as they believed that his dream of making Nnewi, the Taiwan of Africa will be realized.

 

Professor Soludo while appreciating them promised to deliver the dividends of democracy to the people of Nnewi which he said is well captured in his manifesto.

 

Senator Victor Umeh as a founding member of APGA, shared his experience with the Late Odumegwu Ojukwu and his vision for Ndigbo which he said was why APGA was formed and pleaded with Ndi Nnewi to continue working with APGA in building a prosperous homeland in Anambra.

 

A Senior Special Assistance to Governor Obiano on Petroleum and Union Matters, Comrade Peter Nwosu who revealed how he dropped his Governorship ambition because Soludo came on board, explained that anyone who has the interest of the state at heart should support Soludo and APGA.

With a successful campaign tour at Nnewi North local government , APGA has visited nine Local Governments Areas in an attempt to deepen grassroot mobilization.
