Today marks exactly seven years Governor Willie Obiano assumed office as the executive governor of Anambra State.

 

Governor Obiano was sworn in on the seventeenth of March 2014.

 

After completing his first four years term in office, the governor was once again elected by Ndi Anambra on same political platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).

 

He was sworn in for the second term in office on the seventeenth March, 2018.

 

Ndi Anambra have described his performance so far as highly satisfactory in all sectors of the state economy, calling on his would-be successor to sustain and surpass Governor Obiano’s developmental strides in the state.
