Foremost industrialist and Chief Executive Officer of Winco Foam Nigeria Limited, Dr. Godwin Okafor has reassured of stronger partnership with Anambra Broadcasting Service.

 

Dr. Okafor stated this when some members of staff of the ABS and alongside members of Rotary Club of Awka, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, visited his Awka office to felicitate with him on the occasion of his seventy-first birthday.

 

The group was led by the Manager of News of ABS, Mr. Abuchi Nwozor.

 

Correspondent, Daniel Ezeigwe  reports that while   speaking in his office, Dr. Okafor, who described his company’s age-long partnership with the ABS as worthwhile and mutually productive, reassured that the relationship with the media organization would continue to bear fruitful results.

 

He commended the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the ABS, Chief Uche Nworah for championing brand reform.

 

On his birthday, Dr. Okafor thanked God for bringing him this far and attributed his success in life to grace and consistency.

 

Earlier in his remarks, the ABS Manager of News, Mr. Nwozor described Dr. Okafor as a godly and benevolent man who has used his resources and privileges to touch humanity.

 

Mr. Nwozor who is also the President of Rotary Club of Awka, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, noted that Winco products have become a household name across Nigeria haven earned consumer trust because of their comparative quality.

 

On his part, the Manager of Winco Foam, Awka Factory, Mr. Samuel Iheoha, described the celebrant, Dr. Okafor, as a teacher with a graceful heart and prayed God to grant him stronger health and greater wisdom.

 

Also among the visitors were the President-elect of Rotary Club of Awka, Rotarian Ngozi Nworji-Ekeh, another member of the association, Rotarian Tochi Amalu, as well as the Special Assistant, Media and Publicity, to the Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly, Mr. Emma Madu.

 

Dr. Okafor was born on March seventh, 1950.
