Over one hundred people have benefited from a free Medicare and youth empowerment program powered by Dr. Raphael Ike-Ogbugburu, a US based Pharmacist, from Ossomalla, Ogbaru Council Area at Bible Base Miracle Assembly Auditorium, Nkpor.

Dr. Ike-Ogbugburu said the free human care services were borne out of his burning passion to give back to the society especially his people, who have various health challenges.

The US based Pharmacist disclosed that he spent over ten million naira for the medical outreach affirming that the first outreach he carried out last year was satisfactory.

Dr. Ike-Ogbugburu during the program gave health lecture on diabetes, High Blood Pressure and Ulcer among others encouraging youths to believe in themselves, look inwards and make positively use of the internet to make money.

In an interview with the ABS, the senior pastor of Bible Base Miracle Assembly, Reverend Jerry Nwachukwu commended  Dr. Ike-Ogbugburu for coming home to touch the life of his people pointing out that the outreach was not just for members of his church but for everybody and called on other professionals to emulate him.

Pastor Nwachukwu disclosed that last year during the lock down, the Pharmacist sent palliatives that was shared to people living in the area.

He urged those working in the health sector to intensify efforts to live up to their calling cautioning those, who deal on substandard drugs to retrace their steps.

Some beneficiaries including Christiana Nwobodo, and Crescent Eze thanked the donor for touching their lives.

There was question and answer session, while people’s blood pressure was checked.
