The 2019 Nigerian Union of Journalists, NUJ Media Games, Anambra State Council will commence today at the ABS premises with an opening ceremony at 3pm.
According to the Chairman, 2019 NUJ Media Games, Comrade Chukwuemeka Modilim, the opening ceremony will feature novelty football match between NUJ male and female teams.
In female table tennis category, ABS and Fides chapels will lock horns, while Correspondents and Purity FM chapels will battle it out.
Comrade Modilim revealed that the event which will last for two weeks will also feature others games such as draft, sack race by all the participating chapels, adding that the event is designed to showcase the sporting talents of Journalists in Anambra State and make them fit to discharge their social responsibilities
