Electorate in Anambra state have been urged to come out en-masse to exercise their franchise on the 9th March House of Assembly elections.

The State Treasurer of the All Progressives Grand Alliance Mr. Anthony Nwakile, who made the call while speaking to the press at the APGA party office in Awka, reminded them of the need to preserve their permanent voters cards for the onerous task.

Mr. Nwakile, appealed to them to vote for the candidates of the All Progressives Grand Alliance party vying for elective positions in the coming election to consolidate the development initiatives of the Governor Willie Obiano administration.

According to the Party’s Treasurer, Governor Obiano has recorded tremendous achievements as a Governor and needs legislators who will assist him in the development efforts.

He reminded civil servants and the business class of the privileges they are enjoying under the Obiano administration in terms of their welfare and security as well as investors friendly environment.

In a related development, the Chairman Anambra state Christian Pilgrims Welfare Board, Professor Steve Ibenta, has commended the high sense of maturity demonstrated by the Anambra electorate during the just concluded presidential election.

Professor Ibenta, urged the Anambra electorate to vote massively for all APGA candidates in the House of Assembly election on Saturday, March 9th to guarantee the payment of salaries and welfare of workers in the state and sustain security of lives and property and infrastructural development for the next three years of Governor Obiano’s administration.
