Following call by Governor Willie Obiano for support candidates of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in the comingelections, the second term Election campaign of Member RepresentingAyamelum State Constituency, Honorable Uche Okafor got a big boostwith donation of a vehicle from former Governorship candidate of Labour Party now SSA to the Governor on PTD NUPENG and Union MattersHonourable Netochukwu Nwosu.
The presentation of the campaign Sienna Bus in Awkawas witnessed by friends and well-wishers of the candidate, Hon Okafor who was eulogized as man of the people whose re-election bid is based on solid first term representation of Ayamelum constituency.
Handing over the car keys to Honourable Okafor, Honourable said the gesture was in support of what he had done over the years and stated that Governor Obiano deserves the support and collaboration of a stable and hardworking legislature which can only be possible by having astute law makers like Hon Okafor in the State House of Assembly, and assured him of continuous support in his quest for second term.
Earlier, Igwe Benjamin Okechi of Omasi thanked Honourable Netochukwu for the kind gesture noting that Hon. Okafor has proven to be trustworthy and dependable and would be rewarded by the people for his services.
Also, other friends of Hon Okafor expressed their support for his campaign in cash and campaign materials to ensure that he is returned to the Anambra State House of Assembly for a second term.
Responding, Honourable Okafor noted that the support would boost efforts at reaching the people and thanked the donors for supporting his campaign .
