Ndigbo have been urged to use their permanent voter’s cards to make a statement in the coming general elections by voting massively for APGA candidates.

The National Chairman of Willie Obiano Support Group, Chief Jude Emechata who made the call in Awka, stressed the need for Ndigbo in various parts of the country to participate actively in the coming elections.

Chief Emechata noted that with their wide spread numerical strength in various parts of the country, Ndigbo have the potential to change the political equation and narratives that would redefine their position and presence in the leadership structure if they forge a common front on APGA as their politicsl platform.

He said in addition to maintaining its dominance in the state by recording resounding victory in the state, APGA is also on course to win more states and seats in both National and State Assemblies as the good governance and people oriented leadership entrenched by Governor Willie Obiano’s administration have provided the spring board for APGA candidates to triumph.

Chief Emecheta urged communities to sustain high tempo of voter education and encourage registered voters to collect their PVCs.

Also speaking, an APGA Chieftain in Nnobi, Dr Mike Omenugha said APGA candidates have bright prospects in the coming elections because of the impact of the democracy dividends provided by Governor Obiano’s administration including the community choose your project initiative that accelerated development in all the communities.

Dr Omenugha noted that voting APGA candidates would give Governor Obiano the necessary support and encouragement to do more for the people as well as ensure political stability to attract more investors.

He urged the state electorate to turn out en-mass to exercise their franchise and protect their votes.
