Despite assertions that cancer has no known one-stop cure yet, the Director, Spiritual Centre for Self Realization Awka, Reverend Father Raymond Arazu, says original palm wine cures diabetes while Sour-sop
cures Cancer.

Reverend  Father Arazu disclosed this during the Indigenous Medicine and Herbal Practitioners Stakeholders Summit, Organized by the State Government through the Office of the Special Adviser to the Governor on Indigenous Medicine and Herbal Practice in Awka.

Making the life saving revelation, Reverend Father Arazu said that original palm-wine which is not mixed with any concurtion cures
diabetes, urging patients to be taking it twice daily even as he revealed that the more the palm-wine sours, the better for the patient.

On sour-sop and cancer, Reverend Father Arazu who is also the Chairman of the State Traditional Medicine Board noted that cancer patients should ferment the sour-sop leaves and take it twice daily till such a person is totally cured.

The Special Adviser to the Governor on Indigenous Medicine and Herbal Practice, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim noted that his office is charged with the mandate of developing strategies and policies to guide the operations and improvement of indigenous medicine and herbal practice in the State adding that his office has inaugurated fifty six field officers that will ensure field sensitization and education of
practitioners on indigenous medicine and herbal practice, listing, documentation, evaluation of operation sizes among numerous others.

The Dean Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Professor Steve Ogbonna, maintained that epilepsy is curable with herbal medicine.

The summit drew members of the indigenous medicine and herbal practice from the twenty-one local government areas of the State.
