Youths have been commended for not giving in to the intrigues of desperate politicians while also being charged to remain resolute and steadfast not minding

socioeconomic challenges that impede their growth.

These was the view of discussants during yesterday’s edition of Newspaper Review on ABS Radio Awka.

One of the news headlines on yesterday’s edition of the programme was the mobilizing of youths under the aegis of Willie Obiano youth Fan Club to sensitize them on the inherent dangers of being used by selfish politicians including selling their voter cards instead of using such to elect leaders with track records.

Contributing an activist and APGA stalwart in Awka Comrade Obi Ochije urged the youths not to allow themselves to be used as thugs during elections.

In a remark, Professor Dennis Aribodor of the Department of Parasitology and Etymology Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka commended the Academic Staff Union of Universities ASUU, for suspending their industrial action so that the youths will go back to school and urged the Federal Government to meet the lecturer’s demands.

On the issue of prescribing the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB, by the South East Governors, guests to the programme opined that the measure was for the interest of peace and tranquility in the region.
