Anambra State Government in collaboration with the Federal Government Social Investment Office is implementing a School Feeding Program for pupils in primary 1-3 across the State.

The program provides opportunities to assist vulnerable families feed their children while providing an incentive to send them to school. It provides a linkage to health and nutrition essential intervention packages as well as enhances community development, local production, in particular when food is sourced from small holder farmers, thereby boosting productivity in related sectors.
In order to commence State-level implementation of the School Feeding program, the following position is advertised:

POSITION: CATERERS           

Duties:
Providing meals once a day to public school pupils in primary 1-3 according to approved menu.

Qualifications:
1.     Possess a minimum of a First School Leaving Certificate.
2.    Applicants should be between the ages of 25 to 50 years.

Criteria for Recruitment:
1.    The cooks in the school feeding program must be women from the local communities.
2.    Each Caterer must provide a surety that can stand in for her as proof of commitment and conduct if engaged in the program(Traditional rulers, President Generals or Civil Servants GL.14 and above)
3.    Each caterer must live in the same vicinity where the school she will be providing service to.
4.    Each Caterers should be able to provide a clean environment where she will be storing and cooking her food

Closing Date:
All applications signed and sealed with telephone number/s and residential address (community, town& LGA included) should be addressed and dropped at the office of the Education Secretary at your LG Council Office on or before the 2nd September, 2016.
