The Transition Committee Chairman of Orumba South Local Government Area, Prince Neville Uchendu, has called on Ndi Orumba resident in Lagos State to bring down their businesses and invest in Anambra State in view of the massive security milestones already achieved by the present administration of Governor Chukwuma Soludo.

 

Addressing members of the Orumba People’s Development Organization known as the Orumba Forum, an umbrella body of Ndi Orumba in Lagos during their 2023 end of year celebration held at Our Saviour Church Hall, Tafawa Belewa Square, Lagos, Prince Uchendu described Ndi Orumba as industrious people, adding that Orumba has produced great personalities who have made giant contributions to the growth and development of the state.

 

The Orumba South Council boss enjoined them not to entertain any fear of insecurity but to return home for the Christmas celebration, as according to him, the land of Orumba is safe and in the hands of God.

 

He shared with Ndi Orumba in Lagos the remarkable developmental strides of Governor Soludo in Orumba such as the ongoing construction of the Ufuma-Awa-Ndiukwuenu-Amansea road, Ezira-Umuomaku-Enugwu Umuonyia-Achina road, Ajalli-Akpu-Nawfija-Ufuma-Ogbunka road, Eziagu-Umunze road, as well as the ongoing construction of the largest pharmaceutical industrial hub in Ogboji: among others, and urged them to continue to give maximum support to the Soludo administration.

 

Prince Uchendu described Ndi Orumba as prime beneficiaries of the good administration of Governor Soludo in terms of infrastructure and other projects and services, which he said have transformed the lives of the people of the area.

 

He informed Ndi Orumba in Lagos that as the Transition Committee Chairman of Orumba South, he has continued to key into Governor Soludo’s development agenda in moving the council area forward through various programmes such as renovation of different projects in the council secretariat, collaborating with law enforcement agencies to ensure adequate security of lives and property of the people, as well as the ongoing palliative work on various roads in the eighteen wards in the council area, among others.

 

The Orumba South Council Boss commended Ndi Orumba in Lagos for using their organization, to uplift the living standard of the people and urged them to continue their good service to God and humanity.

 

The occasion attracted many dignitaries, including Dr. Raymond Obieri, former Chairman of Intercontinental bank and former President, Nigeria Stock Exchange, among others.
