Dr Ike Neliaku, from Enugwu Ukwu in Njikoka Local government Area but of the Federal capital territory Abuja chapter has emerged President and Council Chairman, of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations NIPR while the immediate past Commissioner for Education in Anambra State, and of the Anambra chapter, Professor Kate Omenugha, becomes a Council Member.
Dr Neliaku was unanimously elected by the Council’s electoral college, while Professor Omenugha clinched the position following high votes polled at the election.
It will be recalled that Ndi Anambra had, ahead of the annual general meeting, convened a pre-event party to present their candidates to the people alongside other council members.
Those elected will pilot the affairs of the institute for the next two years.
