The state Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, Chief Ifeatu Obi-Okoye has urged investment community of Ndi Anambra in Lagos State to key into Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s vision of building a prosperous and liveable homeland by extending their investment to Anambra to fast-track rapid development of the state.
Chief Obi-Okoye made the call in Awka while commenting on town hall meeting of Governor Soludo with investment community of Ndi Anambra in Lagos State.
He noted that the Governor’s meeting with Anambra investment community is a demonstration of his commitment to boost the state economy and create more employment opportunities for Ndi Anambra.
While appreciating the contributions of Ndi Anambra to the development of Nigeria, Chief Obi-Okoye urged them to do same in their homeland as Anambra State Government has created a robust atmosphere for investment to thrive, coupled with the fact that the task of developing a place should not be left to government alone.
The state APGA chairman stressed the need for Ndi Anambra in the diaspora to key into the think home philosophy of Governor Soludo by collaborating with Anambra State Government to achieve his economic and infrastructural development strategy.
Chief Obi-Okoye commended the efforts of Governor Soludo to turn the state from a largely informal commercial hub to an industrialized state, a hub for technology and a place for leisure and entertainment.
