The Deputy Speaker of Anambra State House of Assembly, Dr. Paschal Agbodike has called on Ndi Anambra to pay their tax and levies as at and when due to guarantee accelerated development of Anambra State.

 

Dr Agbodike made the call during plenary.

 

House of Assembly Correspondent, Chukwuemeka Modilim reports that the Deputy applauded Governor Soludo for awarding over two hundred kilometers of roads across the state and for developing all sectors simultaneously.

 

He maintained that provision of social amenities, affordable quality healthcare services, among other needs of the state will be realized with tax and levies and urged the people of Anambra State to cooperate with the Soludo administration by paying their tax and levies.

 

On his part, the member representing Aguata One Constituency, Dr. Carter Umeoduagu, observed that the 2023 Appropriation Bill is realistic and will accelerate the development of Anambra State, even as he expressed appreciation to Governor Soludo for awarding the construction of Umuchu-Umunze road which has been abandoned for years, assuring him of his unalloyed support to his administration.
